Under the weight of real estate speculation, and in the twilight of a doomed building that would soon fall prey to city development driven by neo-liberal politics, the trio of Beat Keller / Genosidra / Lua Jungck came together at livelovelava, a concert series clinging to its last breath before eviction.
Captured in March 2024, between broken windows and leaking pipes, this recording does not seek to document the decay of a building or the disappearance of underground spaces, but rather to celebrate their final moments. Like the mold between walls or the pigeons nesting in the courtyard, our music will stay and grow.
It is a meeting of three distinct artistic voices, each deeply rooted in experimental practice. Beat Keller’s feedbacker electric guitar, and the live electronics of Genosidra and Lua Jungck, oscillate between fragility and violence, in a constant negotiation of digital decay, physical presence, and texture-driven form.
